Smart Factory

By Emily Cook

Industry 4.0 has begun transforming how factories operate, by delivering a more responsive, adaptive and connected manufacturing process. The Smart Factory video showcases an automated manufacturing line, creating customized products through to final packaging for delivery. Quality is monitored by using a camera and Machine Learning functionality. As well as the overall process and operational efficiency being monitored by Cumulocity IoT, each machine/robot on the manufacturing line has its own Digital Twin showing a real-time 3D model of the robot. Allowing an operator to see precisely what is happening in the Smart Factory from anywhere in the world.
