Smurfit Kappa and HP to expand digital printing operations in Europe

The corrugated packaging firm based in Ireland, Smurfit Kappa, has installed HP Scitex presses across its sites in Europe to enhance its digital printing operations.

The eight presses have been installed in sites in Belgium, Denmark, France, Portugal, Poland, and the UK.

The printers – the HP Scitex 11000, HP Scitex 15500, and HP Scitex 17000 – enable time-efficiency through the capability of short runs which can then let the firm meet increasing demand.
