The British automaker, Rolls-Royce, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Alan Turing Institute to undergo research on artificial intelligence (AI).

The partnership aims to develop research and innovation within data science and analytics and evaluating the role within the industrial applications.

The agreement will see a co-designed programme that will focus on apply data science at scale, apply AI to supply chains, data-centric engineering and predictive maintenance, and the role of data analytics and AI in science.
