Get to Know the Speakers

Warren Pruitt, Vice President of Global Engineering Services, Colgate-Palmolive

Warren Pruitt has been at Colgate-Palmolive since 1995. For 26 years, Pruitt has climbed the ladder within the company from Project Engineer to his role today as Vice President of Global Engineering. 

Deep-rooted in manufacturing and engineering, outside of his roles at Colgate-Palmolive, Pruitt has worked for Dial Corp and the United States Air Force.

In 1992, Pruitt graduate from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.  

Darren Haverkamp, Technical Director, Colgate-Palmolive

Similar to Pruitt, Darren Haverkamp has been at Colgate-Palmolive since 1996; collectively they have over 50 years of experience at the company. Haverkamp joined Colgate-Palmolive as an Engineer, working his way through the company to the role he has today as Technical Director. 

In 1992, Haverkamp graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, and then again in 1995 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and General Management.

Brian Gilmore, Director of IoT Product Management, InfluxData

Brian Gilmore’s career journey began in 1997 as a Program Administrator for Inpatient Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 

Since then, Gilmore has worked for multiple companies including Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration, Aquatic Art Technologies, Georgia Aquarium, McKenney’s inc., and Splunk before joining InfluxData as the Director of Product Management (IoT). When it comes to his education, Gilmore went to Buckingham Browne and Nichols School, Connecticut College, and Berklee College of Music.
