Bosch Rexroth has developed a new integrated drivetrain control solution for mobile machinery.

The new system encompasses efficiency, power, safety, and comfort to meet industry demands, reduce fuel consumption, and also reduce noise emissions. The BODAS-drive DRC is now embedded in Rexroth Constrollers, allowing flexible configuration. Users can customise the system depending on requirements.

The BODAS-drive DRC offers a broad range of features including interchangeable driving modes, inching, creep mode, and engine control. It also boasts protection diagnosis and integrated safety.

Safety functions and application support come as standard. Additional features include energy efficiency tools, gearbox management, and comfort functions. Added apps can reduce fuel consumption and noise emissions.

Nick Mobbs, Project Engineer, Mobile Electronics at Bosch Rexroth, says: “There is a growing need for an integrated drivetrain control solution due to the increasing safety and efficiency requirements of mobile machinery. Our BODAS range has been developed to cater for specific industry needs, while offering the end user additional benefits.

“The DRC is designed to cover a wide range of hydrostatic configurations for ease of integration and use, in a multitude of applications.”
