Kate Dawson, founder of the All-in-One company, has formed an alliance with top fashion industry names to revitalise UK clothing manufacture.

Dawson, whose clothing company has gone from strength to strength since its establishment in 2008, has been appointed to Meet the Manufacturer’s advisory board alongside other industry experts. Meet the Manufacturer is a major two-day fashion event in London, running from the 25th to the 26th of May this year, and allows British designers to showcase their products and designs. Now in its third year, the event will host around 150 companies, and it was created by the founder of Make it British, Kate Hills.

Speaking to Business Quarter, Hills said: “[Dawson] understands the textile industry from both a brand and manufacturer’s perspective. As a woman who has set up her own company, with no previous experience in garment manufacturing, she is a great inspiration.”

All-in-One creates high-quality onesies, even enabling customers to design their own via the website, and Dawson has seen a steady, consistent rise in customer demand for excellence: “Customers are turning away from poor standard cheap imports and looking for quality – and there are more and more UK companies supplying just that.”

On being appointed to the board, Dawson said: “To be asked to join the advisory board is a great honour, and I know that all the members are as keen as I am to do all we can to encourage and promote this country’s very talented designers and manufacturers.”
